Conservation partner resorts & dive operators

We know that our partner resorts and dive operators appreciate the value of the Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve, for conservation and biodiversity, and as a unique and irreplaceable ecotourism destination. To profile this commitment, we’ve created our Conservation Contribution Initiative in which our tourism partners include an additional Conservation Contribution in the package pricing they charge to Turneffe visitors.

This contribution is over and above the meager statutory entrance fee for the reserve and provides a reliable source of funding for the work that the Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association does.

For visitors, it provides the gratification of knowing that a portion of their vacation package, or their day-trip price, goes directly to a dedicated and independent non-profit organisation, and that simply by visiting this breath-taking destination, they can be assured that their visit has played a direct role in sustainable marine conservation.
